EHEDG and Young EFFoST are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the third round of the EYE Mentorship Programme. This initiative connects young professionals and students in food science and technology with experienced mentors from the food industry and academia.
The EYE Mentorship Programme offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from established experts, broaden their professional networks, and gain practical insights that support both personal and career development. More than just a mentoring relationship, the programme fosters meaningful connections and encourages the exchange of ideas between future and current leaders in the field of food science and hygienic design.
In the first two rounds, participants reported finding much more than career advice - they built lasting relationships, gained confidence, and even discovered new professional opportunities through their mentors.
The next edition will begin with an in-person kick-off event in Amsterdam on 29 January 2026, where mentors and mentees will meet to launch their collaboration.
