EHEDG Summer School
EHEDG is proud to introduce the new EHEDG Summer School, a 5-day immersive programme focused on hygienic engineering and design in food production environments.
Grounded in internationally recognised EHEDG principles, the programme combines regulatory and technical knowledge with hands-on learning through real-world case studies and practical exercises. Participants will work in small teams to identify hygienic risks, develop solutions, and gain insight into real industrial challenges.
The Summer School is designed to bridge academic learning with industry practice while helping students expand their professional network within the EHEDG community.
What can participants expect?
During the programme, participants will:
- Gain insight into hygienic design principles and food safety regulations
- Work on practical hygienic risk assessment and cleaning strategies
- Experience hands-on, industry-oriented learning
- Connect with fellow students, experts, and industry professionals
- Receive 2 ECTS credits upon completion
Who can apply?
Applications are open to Master’s and PhD students from EHEDG partner universities, including:
- BOKU University
- Wageningen University & Research
- University of Pretoria
- University of Limerick
