Collaboration and Progress in Hygienic Design
The EHEDG Plenary Meeting and Full Working Group Day 2025 in Kraków, Poland, brought together more than 120 members and Working Group participants for three days of collaboration, strategic dialogue, and innovation.
Plenary Meeting
On 14 October, over 100 EHEDG members gathered for the Plenary Meeting, featuring updates from the Head Office, Foundation Board, and Sub-Committee Chairs, as well as an interactive House of Commons-style session led by Advisory Board members. The discussions focused on strategy, alignment and collective goals, reflecting the strong engagement and shared commitment of the EHEDG community.
Participants also contributed to the EHEDG Timeline, celebrating the organisation’s milestones, and concluded the day with the traditional Regional Section Tasting, welcoming members arriving for the Working Group sessions.
Full Working Group Day
The following days, 15–16 October, marked the Full Working Group Day (FWGD), where representatives from 25 Working Groups met to exchange insights, coordinate activities, and plan EHEDG’s 2026 objectives. Several groups continued their collaboration in face-to-face sessions, including those focused on Hygienic Integration Systems, Utilities, Robotics, Dry Materials Handling, Packaging Machines, and more.
These days highlighted the strength of EHEDG’s community and its commitment to advancing hygienic design and food safety worldwide.
