CEFood 2026 will take place from 23–26 September 2026 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, hosted by the University of Food Technologies. The congress brings together researchers, academics and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and present innovations in food science and technology, biotechnology, food engineering, industrial technologies and related interdisciplinary fields.

EHEDG is supporting the event as a sponsor, highlighting the important connection between hygienic design, digitalisation and sustainability. Hygienically designed equipment and processes not only contribute to food safety but can also improve cleaning and process efficiency, helping to reduce water, energy and other resource consumption.
