EHEDG Organisation

  • The EHEDG is a foundation, steered by the Main Group.
  • The Main Group consists of the Executive Committee and members at large.
  • The president who's task is to formally represent EHEDG is elected by the Main Group for a period of 1 year
  • The president is assisted by the Past President and the President Elect.
  • The executive Committee is responsible for the daily operation. It comprises the President, General Secretary, Treasurer and members
  • All members and sponsors are invited to the General Assembly during the Conference, held once every two years.
  • The Regional Sections are a local extension of the EHEDG and are created to promote hygienic manufacturing of food through regional activities
  • Working Groups are set up by the Main Group to prepare guidelines on a specific topic. The Working Group is comprised of the Working Party, members who develop and write the guideline, and Corresponding Members, who have an interest in the activities but are not active participants.
