EHEDG Regional Sections

The Regional Sections are a local extension of the EHEDG and are created to promote hygienic manufacturing of food through regional activities. EHEDG has established Regional Sections in various countries in Europe and overseas. These groups organise local meetings, courses and workshops. 

Regional Sections exist in Armenia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, the Netherlands/Belgium, the Nordic countries (Finland, Norway, Sweden), Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and Ukraine. 

The sections provide:

• dissemination of guidelines in the local language(s)
• feedback to the main group about local affairs and new developments
• advisory function to legislators and standards groups
• a networking platform for local experts in hygienic design
