The Principles group unites all working groups around the hygienic design essential design requirements. Most of the developed guidelines are horizontal and valid for all kinds of equipment used in certain processes. This includes also the selection of materials of construction and hygienic welding processes. A special issue is testing and certification of equipment according EHEDG test methods and guidelines.
